Rules and Regulations

When you become a member of Stuart Heights Pool, you agree to abide by our rules. The rules are enforced by our staff, lifeguards and board members. Failure to comply with these rules at all times could result in a termination of your membership without a refund.

STUART HEIGHTS POOL RULES:

  1. No running, shoving, throwing people into the pool or shoulder riding in the pool.
  2. No floatation devices can be used while jumping off the diving boards.
  3. In order to maintain our family friendly atmosphere, please wear appropriate swim attire (no thong swim bottoms) and refrain from public displays of affection.
  4. Profanity will not be tolerated.
  5. No hanging on the ropes.
  6. Only children 4 and under are allowed in the baby pool. Parents are responsible for their children in the baby pool.
  7. Any child under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  8. You must shower before entering the pool if you have sand, dirt, grass, etc. on your person.
  9. Please close the gate when entering and leaving the pool.
  10. No radios or any music other than on headphones.
  11. No smoking. No smokeless tobacco. No vaping.
  12. During heavy traffic times at the pool, please be respectful and do not use large floats.
  13. All children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers.
  14. Glassware is not allowed in the pool area.
  15. No balloons are allowed in the pool area or any other items that could interfere with the drainage and filtration systems.
  16. This pool is for the EXCLUSIVE use of the Stuart Heights Pool Members and their guests. Everyone must be checked in with the lifeguard at the gate upon entering.
  17. Guest passes are to be used at a maximum of five per visit. Guest passes cannot be used to host parties during regular pool hours.
  18. Any person entering the pool during nonbusiness hours or damaging Stuart Heights Pool property at any time will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
  19. The Lifeguards are the final authority. Disciplinary action can and will be taken if the lifeguards feel it is necessary.
  20. In case of an emergency dial 911.
  21. All guests MUST be accompanied by a member.
  22. Strict adherence to the posted Lightning/Storm policy is required. The Lifeguard is the final authority.
  23. Any person with an infectious or communicable disease is prohibited from utilizing the pool, including persons with open lesions, blisters and cuts or rashes.
  24. Our Swim Team utilizes the pool for practice and meets. The pool will be partially occupied during swim team practice and closed during swim meets.
